New ACE Women’s Network Toolkit Supports Women Leaders in Higher Ed
December 07, 2020

The ACE Women’s Network has released a new toolkit of resources to support, develop, and implement programs for women leaders in higher education.

The toolkit is designed to provide useful insights, resources, and guidance to support state network leaders and was developed based on feedback and insights from state network leaders and the Women’s Network Executive Council.

This toolkit contains three major sections:

  1. History of the ACE Women’s Network—Read a general overview of the Network, along with its mission, vision, and core principles.
  2. State Network Structure—View a video about the history, mission, and structure of the ACE Women's Network.
  3. State Network Operations and Administration—Find information useful for general operation and management of state networks, such as financial management, membership insights, planning and implementing programs and events, and communicating with state network members.

The ACE Women’s Network is a national system of networks within each state, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia with the goal of advancing and supporting women in higher education. Each state network is led by a state chair who works with institutional representatives and at least one presidential sponsor to develop programs that identify, develop, encourage, advance, link, and support women in higher education careers within that state.

ACE will continue to update and provide additional resources within the toolkit over time. For more information on the network and the toolkit, please email womensnetwork@acenet.edu.
