“The Michigan Statewide Joint Apprenticeship Training Program offers a 4-year Apprenticeship programs for Carpenters, Floor Layers, and Millwrights. Apprentices work for a Union Contractor and train throughout the year at their training site. We pride ourselves in providing state-of-the-art training throughout the entire state. Our training makes you more employable, receive better wages, and retain work compared to non-trained workers. There are 5 training facilities across the state of Michigan. Class schedule and dates vary by location. Whether your interest lies in Carpentry, Millwrighting, or Floor Covering, our four-year programs combine on-the-job experience with related classroom instruction. You will be supervised throughout your Apprenticeship by highly skilled Journey-level instructors and coordinators who have years of experience in a wide variety of construction areas.”
