Growing Business Leaders: Free Webinar on State Policy and Business Schools
May 06, 2024

ACE's Office on National Engagement will conduct a free webinar May 22 that will examine the state of business education and how business schools ensure access and high-quality academic offerings in a dynamic, state-level policy environment.

The webinar, titled Growing Business Leaders and Societal Problem-Solvers, is the second in the Advancing Higher Education in Our States webinar series, which aims to strengthen critical engagements between higher education and state governments, communities, and residents. The first webinar in the series, Advancing Higher Education in our States: The Case for Engagement, can be viewed here.

The May 22 webinar, held in partnership with AACSB, will be hosted by ACE Senior Vice President Jon Fansmith and Heidi Tseu, assistant vice president for national engagement. Nick Anderson, ACE vice president for higher education partnerships and improvement, will moderate the discussion.

Panel participants will be:

  • Lily Bi, president and chief executive officer, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International

  • Megan Cluver, principal, Deloitte Consulting, and vice chair of the board, Vermont State Colleges System

  • Alexander Triantis, dean of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Johns Hopkins University

ACE established the Office on National Engagement in September 2023 to influence public debates on the role and value of postsecondary education in an increasingly complicated environment for higher education.
