​With more U.S. and international institutions implementing virtual exchange and collaborative online international learning (VE/COIL) as a complement to traditional in-person academic exchanges, ACE Engage® will host a webinar Feb. 9 to share lessons on how to intentionally design and implement VE/COIL to meet student learning goals and outcomes.

Enhancing Global Learning and Intercultural Competence Through VE/COIL: Lessons from the Field” will feature a discussion with faculty and administrators from around the world who will reflect on their own professional VE/COIL practices and imagine new ways of approaching teaching and learning in the 21st century classroom.

Speakers include:

  • Stephanie Doscher, Director of FIU COIL, Florida International University (USA)

  • Moderator: John E. Fowler, mentor for ACE’s VE/COIL initiatives
