ACE Launches New Mentoring Program for Women Leaders in Higher Ed
June 17, 2022

In an effort to increase the number and diversity of women serving in executive-level positions at institutions and on governing boards, ACE has launched the ACE Women's Leadership Mentoring Program

This first-of-its-kind program at ACE will offer invaluable insights and guidance to emerging leaders. All participants will have an opportunity to address and reflect on the complex roles of women leaders, broaden their understanding of the scope of leadership responsibility, and collaborate on mentee and mentor goals and expectations. It will provide an opportunity for women to engage in a mutually beneficial relationship designed to develop interpersonal and collaborative partnerships. Participants can share and capture experiences and strategies that have helped to propel women to thrive in senior- and executive-level positions.

Mentors will include presidents, deans, associate vice presidents, and other cabinet-level positions. Selected mentees will range from women who hold cabinet-level positions to those serving as deans or directors. Mentors must be currently employed by an ACE member institution or organization. This complimentary pilot program, which begins in January 2023 and closes in June 2023, will select and match 30 pairs of mentors and mentees to engage in at least five virtual sessions over the course of the program. The deadline to apply is July 15. Click here to learn more and apply. Submissions will be reviewed by ACE staff and members of the ACE Women's Network Executive Council.
