ACE’S Learner Success Lab Can Prepare You for Your Future Students
February 09, 2022

Third Cohort Now Accepting Applications

Institutions interested in building comprehensive strategies and learning evidence-based practices for learner success are encouraged to apply for the next cohort of ACE’s Learner Success Lab (LSL).

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, pressures from new economic realities, changing student populations, and a broader economic shift were already exposing existing inequities and challenges that demand institutions adapt and innovate. The LSL learning community engages in intentional transformation of institutional systems, processes, programs, and culture around learner success.

LSL advisor Mary Churchill recently wrote in a blog post for Inside Higher Ed about the importance of taking an integrated approach to serving your future students, just as the LSL trains you to do. “One of my a-ha moments in the lab has been that while our students do not care about our org charts, the ways in which we organize our institutions has profound and lasting impacts on the success or lack thereof of our students,” she wrote.

The 18-month cohort will participate in regular meetings and site visits. In addition, ACE staff and expert ACE Lab advisers will guide participants through the work. Click here to learn more about the process and the ACE Model for Comprehensive Learner Success.

To apply, go to the ACE Learner Success Lab web page and fill out the simple application form in the side bar.

If you are interested but require more information to make your decision, you will also find in that side bar a request for information form.

Financial assistance may be available and will be prioritized for institutions that apply early and that have financial need.
