With generous support from Imaginable Futures, the American Council on Education (ACE) has launched the Building Pathways Initiative. This project amplifies state-led initiatives to advance student success by harnessing national support and resources and supports our commitment to advancing the service and value of higher education across the country.
Anchored by the higher education community, ACE and our project partners are hosting a series of state convenings to bring together cross-sector partners from the states; employers; students; and nonprofit communities. These one-day, in-person convenings provide insights from experts and facilitated workshop discussions to both identify shared opportunities and strengthen cross-sector engagement to benefit our shared interests in student access, success, and earnings.
The first state convening was held in Virginia and focused on workforce initiatives that benefit student-parents and veterans as they balance family responsibilities and education.
