The mental health crisis in higher education impacts entire campus communities, and senior leaders are looking for ways to best address it. In this webinar, the authors of What Works for Improving Mental Health in Higher Education?, a Mental Health in Higher Education series brief, will unpack evidence-based practices that support student mental health and the importance of assessment before and after interventions. This discussion will center on evaluation, data, what works, what has little evidence, and what can impact the future of mental health on campus.

About the Series

Mental health continues to be a top priority and concern for higher education leaders. The Mental Health in Higher Education series highlights and discusses critical issues around mental health for faculty, staff, and students. Each webinar is designed to complement topical briefs released by ACE throughout 2022 and 2023. Topics include faculty and staff burnout, critical questions to ask before contracting with a teletherapy provider, evidence-based practices that support mental health, and information from counseling center directors on what they want leaders to know and what they should do about mental health.
