  • Insights from ACE’s recent brief on faculty and staff burnout (PDF), which highlights how this phenomenon manifests and what leaders can do
  • The latest data from CUPA-HR about retention, satisfaction, and turnover in higher education staff
  • Ways to assess, cope, and mitigate burnout in higher education, especially among faculty

About the Series

​Mental health continues to be a top priority and concern for higher education leaders. The Mental Health in Higher Education series highlights and discusses critical issues around mental health for faculty, staff, and students. Each webinar is designed to complement topical briefs that ACE will release throughout 2022 and 2023. Topics include faculty and staff burnout, critical questions to ask before contracting with a teletherapy provider, evidence-based practices that support mental health, and information from counseling center directors on what they want leaders to know and what they should do about mental health.
