College and University Responses to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Links to resources on online education

​​​These resources are all free. We did not include websites that require membership or another type of fee to gain access. You can find links to ACE's own COVID-19 response resources in the sidebar of this group.

Several commercial providers with extensive expertise in online education are now offering free services during the COVID-19 crisis. These include Coursera, ACUE, and Noodle Partners. Educause has created an extensive list of discounts and special offers that are currently being offered by corporate vendors. 

Southern New Hampshire University, a leader in online education, has developed a suite of resources to help institutions go online. Arizona State also has extensive resources here. 

A consortium of organizations that are focused on the promotion of online learning has developed an extensive website for course developers and administrators. The members of the consortium are the The Online Learning Consortium (OLC), Quality Matters (QM), University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), and WCET (the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies).

Ithaka S+R has created a page with case studies and examples of institutions that have been able to go online quickly. The Chronicle for Higher Education has produced this guide to going online (free, but you will need to register). In addition to resources that were created specifically for the COVID-19 crisis, many organizations have developed resources for developing online and hybrid education, including EAB.
