Degree Programs

​Collaborative degree programs, such as dual and joint degree programs, can be the most complex but also the most rewarding of global partnership engagement activities between the U.S. and Japan. U.S.-Japan degree programs lead to a deeper, more sustainable relationship than other internationalization program strategies as it involves close collaboration by academic units at both partner institutions. It also has the potential for strengthening curriculum innovation, exchanges of professors and researchers, and access to the expertise and networks of the partner university.
