Register for Webinar Highlighting Inclusive, Equitable Teaching

​Inclusive, equitable, effective instruction is essential to delivering higher education’s goal of ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed. ACE and the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) will be hosting a free webinar on June 24 at 12:30pm EDT focused on higher education’s collective responsibility to create a more equitable and just learning environment for all students.

ACE President Ted Mitchell will host the webinar, while Adrianna Kezar, director of the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California, will facilitate the panel discussion. 

The panel will draw insights from ACE’s research paper, “Shared Equity Leadership: Making Equity Everyone's Work,” published in collaboration with the Pullias Center and will also explore ACUE’s research-based program in inclusive teaching for equitable learning. Attendees will be invited to ask questions.

  • Managing the impact of bias
  • Reducing micro-aggressions in learning environments
  • Addressing imposter phenomenon and stereotype threat
  • Creating inclusive learning environments
  • Designing equity-centered courses
