Strength in Diversity

​​ACE’s strength lies in its diverse and loyal membership base. You will join over 1,600 members, 75 percent of which have been ACE members for over 10 years.

Primarily Baccalaureate and Master’s Institutions

Eligibility​​

We welcome public and private institutions granting bachelor’s degrees and above and special focus four-year institutions based in the United States and its territories that are accredited by a select number of agencies recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Your member benefits include access to resources, programs, and discounted registration rates.

Dues​​​

We determine annual member dues based on the size of your institution. We obtain full-time enrollment and general expenses data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) in order to calculate the annual amount.

Community Colleges

​​Eligibility​​​​

We welcome degree-granting community and associates colleges and special focus two-year institutions based in the United States and its territories that are accredited by a select number of agencies recognized by CHEA.

Dues​​​

We determine annual member dues based on the full-time enrollment of your institution, obtaining data from IPEDS in order to calculate the annual amount.

International Colleges and Universities

Eligibility​​​

We welcome degree-granting colleges and universities based outside the United States and its territories that are recognized by appropriate ministries or higher education authorities.​

Dues​​​

International colleges and universities pay annual dues of US $1,350.

ACE membership rates for U.S. colleges and universities are based on full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment and general expenditure. This information is downloaded from the U.S. Department of Education’s Integrated​ Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). National and regional associations are billed at a fixed rate.
