Inclusive, equitable, effective instruction is essential to delivering higher education's goal of ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
The discussion with the American Council on Education (ACE) and the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) explored our collective responsibility to create a more equitable and just learning environment for all students.
ACE President Ted Mitchell hosted the discussion, which was facilitated by Adrianna Kezar, Director of the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California (USC). The panel drew insights from ACE's newest research, “Shared Equity Leadership: Making Equity Everyone's Work" (PDF), published in collaboration with the Pullias Center for Higher Education at USC, and explored ACUE's
research-based program in inclusive teaching for equitable learning. Attendees were invited to ask questions.
