In July 2022, ED issued a draft of its proposed rule. The following September, ACE—along with nearly 240,000 other interested stakeholders—submitted comments. ED announced on April 19 that it had issued its long-awaited final rule, which is set to take effect on August 1, 2024. Join us on Monday, April 29 at 200 p.m. (ET) to hear from a panel of higher education Title IX legal experts who will provide a high-level overview of the key changes in the final rule, identify its challenges, and discuss possible next steps for campuses as they work to ensure compliance by the August 1 deadline.
