Implementing What Works for Latino Students Workshop

Excelencia in Education has identified and examined evidence-based practices that increase Latino student success. Learn how to intentionally implement and advance programs and policies that increase Latino student success from experts. Attendees will discuss tools to assess Latino student strengths and needs, identify metrics to determine program effectiveness, and focus on being intentional in serving Latino student populations through program sustainability and institutionalization.
This four-hour workshop (separated into two two-hour sessions) is geared toward administrators, faculty, and staff from institutions with an intentional focus on serving Latino and other post-traditional students, including student and academic affairs administrators; faculty working on student success initiatives; institutional research, planning, and assessment teams; and Title V program managers.
