Exclusive for ACE Member Presidents: Advocate in DC Prior to ACE’s Annual Meeting
October 29, 2025

ACE on the Hill 2026 is a chance for ACE member presidents and chancellors from across the country to connect directly with lawmakers on Capitol Hill and advocate on behalf of institutions, students, and the future of higher education.

This Feb. 25 high-level policy engagement event, part of the ACE Experience 2026 (ACEx2026), will allow campus chief executives to share institutional perspectives and drive meaningful change in face-to-face meetings with members of Congress and their staff. Please contact the ACE Government Relations and National Engagement team at govrel@acenet.edu with questions about registration.

ACE on the Hill marks the start of ACEx2026, a multi-faceted, high-impact convening for college and university leaders Feb. 25-28 in Washington, DC.

ACEx2026, anchored by the ACE Annual Meeting Feb. 26-27, will empower campus leaders to foster innovation and resilience and champion higher education’s vital role in building our nation’s future. It will address the array of pressing challenges facing institutions, from federal funding cuts and other policy issues to demonstrating the value of higher education.

ACE President Ted Mitchell will open the Annual Meeting with an address on the state of U.S. higher education and what is ahead for campuses, policymakers, and students alike. Mitchell’s speech will set the tone for the meeting, which will feature sessions on innovation, policy, and leadership across the higher education landscape.

In addition to the ACE Annual Meeting, open to all types of campus leaders, and ACE on the Hill, the ACE Women’s Network Leadership Conference and Women’s Leadership Dinner will take place Feb. 27-28, as will the ACE Council of Fellows Gathering.
