Reclaiming the High Ground: Aligning Value and Student Success

Discover how campuses can thrive in the current landscape by identifying their unique value proposition, communicating it to key stakeholders, and delivering on its promises. During the day and a half summit, participants will leverage ACE’s data on student demographics with current public expectations of higher education and proceed through a design process that will help articulate the particular promises that each institution offers students. Campus leaders will work collaboratively across functional roles to align mission with specific value propositions for students while ensuring their tactics are financially viable and allow for sustained institutional success.

During this event, leaders will:

  • Engage in exercises centered in design thinking that allow for intense (re)consideration of institutional mission and market alignment.
  • Define a value proposition for students and design a strategy for delivering on that promise.
  • Examine institutional contexts and collaboratively explore a model for effectively expressing a value proposition focused on a clear student success narrative.
  • Understand promising methods to discuss new alignments with campus leadership teams to ensure forward movement.
