Internationalization Collaborative to Focus on Co-curriculum Issues

December 12, 2016

ACE will host the ACE/AIEA Internationalization Collaborative on Feb. 18, 2017, in Washington, DC. Presented in conjunction with the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) Annual Conference, the Collaborative serves as a forum for sharing effective practices that address one particular aspect of internationalization.

The 2017 theme, “Focus on the Co-curriculum: Advancing Student Learning with a Comprehensive International Strategy,” builds on the previous two Collaborative meetings, which explored curriculum internationalization.

Topics that will guide discussion include: integrating co-curricular learning experiences into a comprehensive internationalization strategy; strengthening the links between co-curriculum and curriculum; designing effective co-curricular programs; engaging faculty and staff; and the role of the senior international officer.

Teams of faculty and administrators are strongly encouraged to attend together. Discounts are available for groups of three or more.

Early bird registration for the AIEA Annual Conference—which is separate from the Collaborative registration—closes Dec. 15.
