To achieve the goals of their institutions, system and campus leaders at colleges and universities across the country need to work together to achieve the transformative change demanded by the current environment.
ACE and the National Association of System Heads (NASH) are harnessing the collective knowledge of their associations through the ACE and NASH Leadership Academy, designed to support system and campus leaders in the development of high performing teams that facilitate large-scale change, enhance campus and system performance, and scale best practices across multiple campuses.
The first convening will be held Jan. 17-18, 2018 in Washington, DC. A follow-up meeting will be held April 12, 2018, in Chicago, IL. Participants are encouraged to send three to five members of their senior executive teams from the system and selected campuses. Program registration closes Dec. 13.
The academy will focus on one of the highest priorities facing systems and campuses: improving student success. Tools will be presented for leading and facilitating large-scale change initiatives using a multilateral approach, considering relationships between system and campus leaders as well as among the campuses themselves. Areas of exploration will include coordinated approaches to enrollment, retention, student mobility and completion.
