The National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), in cooperation with ACE, will hold a webinar May 22 on “Title IX Investigations: Advanced Issues, Challenges, and Opportunities.

Following a highly successful presentation at NACUA's 2014 Winter CLE Workshop, Student Sexual Misconduct: Addressing Institutional Culture and Compliance, this webinar brings two expert practitioners together again to update seminar participants on the key issues related to Title IX investigations and effective practices for counsel and administrators.

Topics will include identifying the appropriate institutional response; understanding confidentiality, privacy, and rights of the parties; coordinating with law enforcement; investigation protocols; and separating support and advocacy from investigation and adjudication, among others.

The webinar will also cover relevant portions of the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights' recently released FAQ guidance.

For more information and to register, see the NACUA website.
