Mid-level women administrators (typically department chairs, directors and assistant/associate deans) who aspire to advance in higher education administration can now register for ACE’s Regional Women’s Leadership Forum before the Feb. 11, 2017 early bird deadline.
The Forum will be held April 12-14, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.
The interactive programming is designed specifically to provide emerging women leaders with opportunities to hone leadership skills in critical areas such as fundraising, risk management, crisis response and strategic planning. Participants also will receive practical training, including resume/CV critiques and mock interviews.
Through candid conversations and networking with women presidents and executive search consultants, participants will gain exposure to the experiences, challenges and rewards of senior-level administrative positions, particularly the search process and day-to-day life on the job.
Throughout the program, participants can also expect to share ideas and knowledge with their fellow attendees from a variety of academic backgrounds and institutional types and expand their perspectives on issues facing higher education leaders today.
