Strength through Global Leadership and Engagement

Recognizing that the rapid evolution of the global environment for higher education warrants closer scrutiny and, likely, new and perhaps more nuanced responses from colleges and universities, the ACE Board of Directors authorized ACE President Molly Corbett Broad to appoint a Blue Ribbon Panel on Global Engagement to assess what ACE must do to support and enhance the global engagement of U.S. higher education institutions. The full breadth of the panel’s work, including its environmental review, principles for global engagement strategies and recommendations for ACE, is substantiated in the body of the report that follows.
