Transcripts and ACE Learning Evaluations

The American Council on Education (ACE) supports both military and nonmilitary learners through transcripts and digital badges.

Transcripts for Military Learners

ACE contributes data and provides quality assurance for military courses and occupations appearing on the Joint Services Transcript used by the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard. More than 2,300 colleges and universities recognize these transcripts as official documentation of military training and experiences.

Transcripts for Nonmilitary Learners

The ACE Transcript, powered by Credly, includes credit recommendations and competencies that learners have earned through workplace training, exams, certifications, and alternative educational experiences. These transcripts incorporate digital credentials (badges) through Credly's digital credential platform, and they are designed to enable recipients to grant college credit, satisfy degree requirements, or verify skills required for a job opportunity.

Military Transcript Requests

The Joint Services Transcript is used by the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard.

The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) offers two-year associate of applied science degrees and provides transcripts to service members who have completed coursework from this curriculum. Air University is a professional military education system of the United States Air Force.

Visit the ACE Military Guide Frequently Asked Questions page for questions that may arise when using transcripts to evaluate and award credit.

If you have questions related to your JST transcript, contact jst@doded.mil for further assistance.

Note for Army personnel: Effective December 1, 2021, all veterans, active duty, and National Guard personnel should log in to the JST and fill out an inquiry so that their issues can be sent to the Army for review. If you are unable to log in, all questions concerning Army personnel JSTs should be directed to usarmy.knox.hrc.mbx.tagd-jst@army.mil.

The ACE Transcript, powered by Credly, includes credit recommendations that learners have earned through workplace training, apprenticeships, examinations, and other alternative education experiences. Visit the ACE National Guide to find experiences that carry ACE recommendations.

Learners must have a Credly account in order to access official transcripts and digital badges. Visit the Credly sign-in page to request an official transcript, or learn more via the Credly Help Center.

If you need assistance, contact the ACE Learning Evaluations team at credit@acenet.edu. Please note that ACE cannot issue transcripts or digital badges directly to learners.

Previous Credentials

ACE had provided transcript services online through its Registry and Transcript System until November 30, 2020. This system has since been decommissioned, and transcript requests are no longer available.

Learners may still log in to this system to view their transcripts that reflect ACE Learning Evaluationsendorsed courses or exams prior to November 30, 2020. Please note that these records are for reference only and are not official transcripts.
