The Technology Revolution and Student Learning

What You Need to Know

November 17, 2011

Technology and social media are increasingly impacting student learning on campuses across the country—in good ways and bad. With a student body that is more plugged in than ever before, campus leaders need practical solutions for how to better incorporate new technologies inside and out of the classroom.
We were pleased to host a webinar that featured experts who deal with these issues on campus every day.

The panel discussed:

  • Broad national trends and data illustrating how technology is being used to enhance student academic success and engagement.
  • Effective strategies to better leverage new technology campus-wide: What works and what doesn’t work, and what institutions should take into consideration as they develop their own strategies.
  • Approaches for developing and implementing hybrid and online learning models.
