This webinar examined ideas put forth in the book,
The Innovative University: Changing the DNA of Higher Education from the Inside Out. It was part of the ACE Webinar Series, an interactive, online forum that addresses the most pressing issues in higher education.
The hosts of the webinar, Clayton Christensen, Henry Eyring and Kim Clark discussed the book and engaged in conversation with participants throughout the webinar. They discussed how higher education leaders at institutions across the country are striving to meet the needs of a changing student population in the face of shrinking budgets and increased competition. And, they made it clear that American higher education must implement cutting-edge strategies to enhance productivity, with the end goals being to expand capacity, improve teaching and learning, and better serve a diverse 21st century student population.
