College and University Partnerships Webinar Series on Credit for Prior Learning

March 05, 2015

Is your institution one of the growing number of institutions attempting to implement or expand credit for prior learning (CPL) programs and services? Would your institution like to meet increased demand among contemporary college students and boost postsecondary completion through CPL implementation? Are you facing multiple challenges regarding how to create and sustain good policy and practice?

ACE invited participants to view the 2015 Webinar Series on Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) which highlighted a number of critical areas required for successful CPL programs.  The series brought a group of seasoned CPL practitioners from two and four year institutions across the nation. Featured institutions, with longstanding, highly-respected CPL programs in place, such as SUNY Empire State College, Ivy Tech Community College, and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, shared effective policies, practices, and strategies. These interactive webinars offered additional tools and resources with which institutions could use to increase its capacity in areas such as institutional engagement, student outreach and advising, CPL articulation, and employer partnerships.

 Testimonials

Georgia’s campuses have participated in ACE webinars to help us develop strategies to better serve military, veteran and adult learners.

We find ACE webinars offer straightforward messages presented by experts in their fields, making them especially valuable as we grapple with accreditation concerns related to awarding credit for prior learning, workforce and military training.

ACE webinars are an efficient and cost effective way to deliver expert professional development to faculty and staff at our 15 institutions.
