Law and the Courts

  • ACE is involved in monitoring a wide range of legal issues which impact campuses, including affirmative action, research and patents, employment law, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, campus security, lobbying and ethics guidelines, and many more. In some instances, the ACE legal team files friend-of-the-court briefs in support of member institutions. It also submits comments to federal agencies on proposed regulations and issues memos and white papers explaining current legal concerns to our members.
