Women’s Leadership in Global and International Contexts
With the rise in international universities,
national universities with international campuses, and international
travel and outreach, women are leading in a variety of international and
global contexts that may not have been previously considered. As we
become progressively more mobile and international communication becomes
more fluid, today’s women leaders are exercising flexibility and
nimbleness to move to move forward in increasing complex and
international contexts. As world is getting smaller and more connected,
women are excelling in efforts to connect and communicate across time,
distance and culture. In addition, international administrators,
faculty, students and staff are working and studying in different
environments locally and abroad. This issue focuses light on women
leading in these multiple international and global contexts. I enjoyed
these articles on women’s international and global leadership, I hope
you will as well.
