Danielle Melidona is a senior analyst and program officer at the American Council on Education (ACE), where she leads a portfolio of research and policy analysis activities that provide timely, data-driven insights to inform strategy and decision-making for ACE stakeholders.

Melidona has deep expertise working with large-scale federal datasets, leading survey research, and translating complex findings into accessible and actionable resources. Prior to ACE, she spent eight years in various student affairs roles, providing campus-level administration and direct support to students.

She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University, a master of science degree in higher education from Penn State University, and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Kent State University.
