Turbulent. Tumultuous. Chaotic. This year has been all of that and more for higher education, institutions, and their students, staff, and surrounding communities. With the pace not likely to slow down anytime soon, sessions at the ACE Experience 2026 (ACEx2026) will equip higher education leaders for what lies ahead.Journalists from The Chronicle of Higher Education, and other sharp observers of the sector, will make a dozen predictions for higher education in the coming year, addressing topics such as leadership and artificial intelligence. ACE’s popular dotEDU podcast will be on hand for a dynamic, candid, and interactive live recording as our hosts unpack the most pressing and emerging policy issues shaping higher education. Another session will look at how higher education leadership development programs are equipping leaders to meet complex institutional and societal demands, and how leadership development itself must evolve in response to unprecedented times.
Those are just three examples of forward-looking sessions that will be conducted during ACEx2026, a multi-faceted, high-impact convening for college and university leaders set for Feb. 25-28 in Washington, DC. Anchored by the ACE Annual Meeting, Feb. 26-27, ACEx2026 will empower campus leaders to foster innovation and resilience and champion higher education’s vital role in building our nation’s future.
In addition to the ACE Annual Meeting, ACE member presidents and chancellors can participate in ACE on the Hill on Feb. 25, a high-level policy engagement event that will connect campus leaders directly with lawmakers. The ACE Women’s Network Leadership Conference and Women’s Leadership Dinner will take place Feb. 27-28, as will the ACE Council of Fellows Gathering.
