With generous support from Imaginable Futures, the American Council on Education (ACE) is launching the Building Pathways Initiative. This project amplifies state-led initiatives to advance student success by harnessing national support and resources and supports our commitment to advancing the service and value of higher education across the country.
Anchored by the higher education community, ACE and our project partners will host a series of state convenings to bring together cross-sector partners from the states; employers; students; and nonprofit communities. These one-day, in-person convenings will provide insights from experts and facilitated workshop discussions to both identify shared opportunities and strengthen cross-sector engagement to benefit our shared interests in student access, success, and earnings.
The first state convening will be held in Virginia and focus on workforce initiatives that benefit student-parents and veterans as they balance family responsibilities and education.
