Leading Where We Stand
This issue explores women leading where they stand. In this issue you will read about how women lead in their roles, how they achieved leadership roles, and how they lead—even if their job title does not suggest leadership.
The action of leadership is dynamic. It is about taking opportunities and making opportunities, and becoming engaged with an institution, a community, a state, a nation, or the world as a whole.
Being a leader wherever you land, is taking the initiative to build skills and advance yourself and others. Being a leader is also about considering the people who helped you get where you are.
And so, enjoy these articles from women leaders describing the process of leading where they stand. Consider what more you can do and what you are already doing as a leader.
