National Women's Leadership Forum

The December 2017 program application is now closed.

​Thank you for your interest in the 90th National Women's Leadership Forum. This 3-day leadership program is for senior-level women administrators (typically deans and above) seeking a college or university presidency, vice presidency, or major deanship.   ​​​​​​​​

​October 6, 2017 ​Cancellation requests submitted to by COB will receive full refund
November 1, 2017​ ​Program materials due (visit the Program tab for details)
November 1, 2017​​ ​Application submission deadline
​November 14, 2017 Cancellation requests submitted to by COB will receive refund minus $300 cancellation fee
​After November 14,​ 2​0​1​7​ ​Cancellation requests submitted to ACE​ by COB will receive refund minus $500 cancellation fee
November 16, 2017 Program payment due (participation is not confirmed unless paid in full)

Program Location

Program Book and Mock Interview Materials

To participate in the program, you will need to complete an application as well as submit materials for the program book and mock interviews. Visit the Program tab for details.


ACE Member Institution: $2,300    |    Non-ACE Member Institution: $2,600

Fees are due after acceptance into the forum; includes breakfast, lunch, and materials. Participants are responsible for hotel and travel expenses – discounted hotel rates available.

Emily Taylor Women's Leadership Scholarship

Emily Taylor was a longtime champion of women's causes and a former director of the Office of Women in Higher Education (OWHE) at the American Council of Education. In honor of her work, ACE will award support grants/scholarships to defray the cost of registration for the National Women's Leadership Forums. Applicants can request to be considered for a scholarship in the application process.

Payment and Cancellation Policies

Full payment must be received prior to start of the program to confirm participation. ACE accepts the following payment options:

  • Credit Card – American Express, Visa, Discover, or MasterCard accepted. Log into your 90th NWLF December 2017 account to complete payment process. Or, call 202-939-9376 to have payment processed by phone.

Each participant will receive access to an electronic program book containing information for program participants and faculty.

Mock Interview Materials

We have organized an interactive program of plenary sessions, including a mock interview that will assist you with shaping your career development path. Please upload below materials via your 90th NWLF December 2017 account no later than November 1, 2017:

  • Administrative Vitae/CV
  • Sample job description (of a position you aspire to)
  • Cover letter (should be tailored to the sample job description)

Preliminary Schedule

The following is the preliminary schedule for the convening. A detailed agenda will be included in the electronic program book that will be emailed to participants prior to the meeting.

Day 1

8:30 a.m. - Registration and sign-in open

5:00 p.m. - First day's programming ends

5:30 p.m. - Reception

8:30 - Re-gathering

4:30 p.m. - Second day's programming ends

Room Rate

Participants are responsible for their hotel and travel expenses. The discounted rate for program attendees is $149/night and is valid 3 days before and 3 days after the program.  Register for the program prior to reserving the room.
