Register Now for Engage Webinars on Preparing Campuses for the Election

On Sept. 29 and Oct. 7, ACE Engage® webinars will share recommendations and key resources for how campus leaders can help students participate in the democratic process this fall and exercise the right to vote.

The Sept. 29 webinar, Key Leadership Actions to Prepare Our Campuses for the Election, grows out of the work of the Engage platform’s Civic Engagement and Democratic Practices community, which has been developing principles, practices, and resources in the area of student voting for campus leaders to consider. Webinar speakers will share actions and resources to lead students in deliberative dialogue, community engagement, and voting during the 2020 presidential election.

Webinar speakers include:

  • Nancy Thomas, director of the Institute for Democracy & Higher Education at Tufts University
  • Peter McDonough, vice president and general counsel at ACE
  • Felice Nudelman, executive director of the American Democracy Project at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities
