December 17, 2021

Register now for the ACE annual meeting March 5-7 in San Diego

Higher education pivoted quickly when the pandemic struck to a world of primarily online learning in the spring and fall of 2020. But even colleges and universities that transitioned relatively smoothly then have a lot to learn about how to integrate online learning into their campuses.

The closing plenary at ACE2022, ACE’s annual meeting in San Diego set for March 5-7, will examine how to provide an online learning environment that works for students, tackling questions such as how to train faculty to better teach online and how an online or blended environment might impact enrollment.

Addressing these questions during the closing plenary, sponsored by the Eos Foundation, will be speakers from institutions with enormous experience in this area who share both what has worked and what hasn’t worked so well:

  • Ajita Talwalker Menon, president, and CEO, Calbright College
  • Eloy Ortiz Oakley, chancellor, California Community Colleges
  • Scott D. Pulsipher, president, Western Governors University

Join hundreds of higher education leaders at ACE2022 for sessions like these with knowledgeable experts and to network with colleagues while exploring practical solutions for thorny issues, analyzing major trends, and discovering data-driven insights and sustainable strategies for your campus’s future.

Among other major plenary speakers are William R. Harvey, a prominent national higher education leader who has been president of Hampton University since 1978. Harvey will deliver the keynote address at the Robert H. Atwell Plenary Sunday afternoon that is sponsored by Fidelity Investments. The Monday Luncheon Plenary, sponsored by TIAA, will feature Maria Hinojosa, creator of the Futuro Media Group and anchor and executive producer of the Peabody Award-winning show Latino USA.

More major speakers and meeting sessions will be announced soon. Click here for more information and to register. Note that advanced registration pricing remains in effect through Feb. 10.

ACE2022 attendees and vendors will be required to show they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to participating in the event in person or have a documented medical or religious exemption and present a negative COVID test within 48 hours of participation.
