Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of the 5th Year Inside Blended Learning Bundle.

Learning Outcomes:

  • understand the differences in residential, industrial, and commercial blueprints
  • understand the NEC requirements related to special occupancies
  • understand motor controls such as types of contactors, manual and automatic, and diagrams and drawing techniques, input and output devices, controls, and troubleshooting
  • understand motors such as theory, nameplates, AC alternators, three-phase motors, squirrel cage motors, wound-rotor motors, single-phase motors, starting methods, and the NEC requirements and calculations for installation.
