Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of the Second Year Residential Wiremen Bundle.

Learning Outcomes:

  • understand AC Theory
  • apply NEC wiring requirements for proper branch circuit and sizing of building wire for dwelling units
  • communicate between labor and management
  • understand job costs and perform a takeoff for dwelling units
  • understand safety methods for installation and proper grounding methods
  • demonstrate knowledge and skill based on material learned such as properly installing devices such as a GFCI and updating or installing a service entrance electrical panel
