Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce audio signal and video signal fundamentals, the properties of sound, sound reproduction devices, video display technologies, home theater systems, cabling and connections, distributed audio and distributed video systems, planning, testing, and troubleshooting, and streaming media technologies.

Learning Outcomes:

define the audio spectrum of sound and how sound is measured
identify and describe amplifier specifications and how they affect the sound when selecting speakers
compare audio distribution options and sources

list and explain the steps to designing a distributed audio system
