Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of the Third Year Residential Wiremen Bundle.

Learning Outcomes:

  • understand what to expect after apprenticeship and to be a successful Journey-level worker
  • understand specific requirements of motors, motor circuits, and range load calculations related to residential work
  • understand HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems and associated wiring systems
  • understand the residential special purpose outlets
  • understand low-voltage signal systems such as smoke, heat, carbon monoxide alarms, security systems, and pools/spas/hot tubs
