Description

Objective:

To provide students with current foundational knowledge, training, and competency to assess fitness levels of, and design fitness programs and provide exercise instruction and motivation for, older adults.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the key age-related changes in physiology and fitness levels, demonstrate safe and effective exercises for older adults, perform fitness assessments and prescriptions for older adults, and market exercise programs to seniors
