Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide students with a foundational knowledge of the basic concepts and scientific principles of Pharmacology. This course explores an overview of the pharmacology industry including its history, scope of practice, ethical considerations, regulation, as well as educational and career opportunities. At the conclusion of this course students should have a solid understanding of the principles of pharmacology in order to effectively, safely, and competently work in healthcare while ensuring patient safety.
