Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide students with an understanding of sustainability and environmental issues and programs for today's logistics and supply chain manager. Students will examine recycling activities of several corporations and examine 'green' technology initiatives from using energy-efficient lighting to using wind and solar power. Legislation and regulations will be examined and discussed that place boundaries on greenhouse gases in manufacturing and in retail operations.
