Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare new-to-role Academy facilitators for success by introducing them to Walmart Academy mission and key elements of their culture along with the tactical tools and reports necessary for their role.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply SBIN feedback when reinforcing or redirecting behavior, this framework is: situation, behavior, impact, followed by next steps.
  • Provide facilitation feedback through SBIN feedback supporting the facilitation skill
  • Use the appropriate tools to manage, plan, and effectively communicate including the Academy support page, outlook, AMS, and EDU.
  • Understand Walmart’s leadership expectations and how to demonstrate these as a Walmart Academy facilitator.
  • Demonstrate how to facilitate virtually through the Poly units showcasing what good looks like.
  • Promote a culture of feedback by seeking, receiving, giving, and sharing feedback to peers.
  • Identify how facilitation skills can apply to both classroom facilitation and in leadership through exploration of scenarios and real world application.
