Description

Objective:

The course objective is to cultivate a supportive and resilient team environment by fostering a sense of belonging, trust, and effective communication.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Define what is needed to establish and maintain trust among your team
  • Develop effective feedback skills by engaging in a roleplay activity using the Associate Centered Leadership Model to ensure that feedback is given in a way that makes the associate feel seen, heard, and accountable
  • Incorporate an associate centered mindset in moments of change to counter the symptoms of change fatigue
  • Understand the motivation factors for task and quality outcomes, such as autonomy, mastery, and purpose, and how they relate to effective delegation
  • Utilize outlined tools and techniques to overcome the blocks of delegation
  • Summarize how belonging supports the existing values and behaviors of our company
  • Analyze the various belonging needs of the individuals on their team and strive to meet them
  • Participants will be able to identify their influence style and demonstrate the ability to use it to build healthy influence
  • Use the four steps of SAFE within their team’s ways of working
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the CORE resilience model and how to use them to build resilience in their team
  • Incorporate the Associate Centered Leadership Model into their regular one on ones
  • Recognize and address feedback resistance by understanding the four Ds (deny, dismiss, deflect, defend)
  • Appropriately apply the GROW model to coaching scenarios
  • Analyze the skill, will, and permission factors when assessing the impact of coaching on tasks and teams
