Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide agency investigators with information and material surrounding crime scene processing and related methodologies that will enhance their ability to investigate criminal acts and to assist those who are designated as Crime Scene Technicians.

Learning Outcomes:

  • have gained a more advanced understanding of crime scene processing.
  • be able to will increase their skill level in such techniques as sketching and documenting crimes scenes, photography, examining blood splatter, tool marks, and firearms evidence, packaging various types of evidence.
  • be able to understand the capabilities of the Department of Forensic Science.
