Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide the student with information and needed skills that will afford for the proper handling, care, and training of canines.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Care for and provide proper treatment to their canine partner
  • Demonstrate proper disciplinary methods to maximize use of the canine which will ensure the protection of life while utilizing minimal force
  • Demonstrate officer safety techniques while utilizing their canine
