Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide instruction in the use of AutoCAD software to drawings using AutoCAD commands and enable students to produce a complete and accurate set of drawings based on the ideas and sketches of engineers, architects and designers.

  • Draw and prepare detailed mechanical and architectural plans
  • Apply techniques of lettering, orthographic projection procedures, dimensioning techniques, auxiliary views, working drawings and pictorial representations
  • Use computer equipment and software to apply drafting principles in both mechanical and architectural drafting
