The course objective is to focus on the essential skills needed to administer, monitor, and troubleshoot a Linux system on a daily basis. The skills learned in this course apply across all of the major Linux distributions including Red Hat, Fedora, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu and SUSE. The course is supplemented with many hands-on commands and lab exercises that reinforce the lectures. Participants are assumed to be familiar with Linux commands to manipulate files, define a basic shell command environment, and have the ability to use a supplied text editor.
