It is therefore recommended that a maximum of 6 credits be granted for completion of two or more of these courses. This course has been reevaluated and continues to meet the requirements for credit recommendations. (The Cummins Diesel II course was discontinued in 1983 and replaced with the Cummins Diesel III course. The change was made because of an equipment change. Description

Objective:

To provide an understanding of the principles of operation of the NTC 230 PT Model Cummins diesel engine. To develop skill in troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing components; performing tune-ups; and using test equipment.
